Each year the Reading Room is stocked with new and gently used books donated by the community for children attending the fair to take home for their summer reading enjoyment. Volunteer readers are needed for a one hour shift during the day to share the joy of reading and help children choose an age appropriate book for their home library. The Warren County Youth Fair is a free event that will be held on August 1 from 10am – 6pm. Donations of gently used or new books will be collected until July 30th and can be dropped off at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Education Center, 377 Schroon River Road in Warrensburg or at the YMCA in Glens Falls.
