After immersing himself in the Great American Songbook for the past nine years, Rod Stewart is ready to rock again. Stewart tells us that he plans to release a new rock out during early 2013, comprised of what he calls "just a good, old-fashioned Rod Stewart album." It marks Stewart's first foray back into rock since 2006's "Still The Same...Great Rock Classics of Our Time" and his first to feature original material since 2001's "Human." Stewart tells The Insider that, "It's all done, mate. I produced it myself. It's all finished, mixed, everything. We're just trying to do the last track... Just a good, old-fashioned Rod Stewart album...a lot of mandolin and acoustic (guitar) and fiddles and good storytelling, I believe, too."
