Deep Purple has made significant headway on its next album, according to bassist Roger Glover. Glover told Russian radio that the group has recorded 14 songs for the set, its follow-up to 2005's "Rapture of the Deep;" he expects 11 or 12 will be part of the final release, which is targeted for mid-February. The group worked with producer Bob Ezrin, who guitarist Steve Morse met during his tenure in Kansas.
