A deluxe edition of Humble Pie's famed live album "Performance: Rockin' The Fillmore" is on tape for 2013 according to Peter Frampton.

Frampton confirmed to a Washington, D.C., radio station that he and Humble Pie drummer Jerry Shirley are curating a collection that will include all four shows taped May 27 and 28, 1971 at the Fillmore East in New York to present a complete document of the group's stand there.

"Performance: Rockin' The Fillmore," a two-disc vinyl set, was released in November of 1971 and provided Humble Pie's commercial breakthrough in the U.S., hitting No. 21 on the Billboard 200 chart and earning a gold album certification. The group's rendition of Ray Charles' "I Don't Need No Doctor" was a radio hit that peaked at No. 73 on the Billboard Hot 100.

It was also Frampton's last album with the group; he left shortly before its release, replaced by Clem Clempson.

Frampton says a Humble Pie box set is also on tap for the near future. Shirley published a memoir, "Best Seat in the House: Drumming in the '70s with Marriott, Frampton and Humble Pie," in 2011.
