Yes will be reveling in its past on the road this year, but it has new music in its crosshairs, too.
Bassist Chris Squire tells us that after this year's tour playing three of its vintage 70s albums in their entirety, he expects Yes to hit the studio to start working on its 21st album:
"It's really just in the germination stage at the moment. We're already looking at bits and pieces. We're starting to gather the music together, but...we've agreed to not be recording til the fall."
The album will be the follow-up to 2011's "Fly From Here." Before then, however, Yes hits the road March 1 for a 23-date tour during which the group will play 1971's "The Yes Album," 1972's "Close to the Edge" and 1977's "Going For the One." Squire says Yes may tour again in the summer as well.
