For fans of Deep Purple, the time is now. 2013 looks to be a busy year for the group, with a new album entitled NOW What?! set to be released on April 30th and international tour dates on the horizon.
Luckily, we don’t have to wait until the end of April for a taste of the band’s new music. One-minute previews of the singles, ‘All the Time in the World’ and ‘Hell to Pay,’ and two live cuts, are currently streaming online at qobuz.com. Both songs will be available in full the day before the album’s release.
Guitarist Steve Morse shared his thoughts on the new record on the band’s official website, stating, “This album stretches out in some new areas for us instrumentally. Musically, there’s a little bit of each of our lives in this album.”
It will be the first new release in over seven years for the band, as the follow-up to 2005’s Rapture of the Deep.
