We’re not sure what project Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh has in the works, but it looks very promising!
The rocker posted a photo to his Facebook page on March 8 of himself and a few friends in the studio. The lineup included Blues vocalist Keb’ Mo’, super-producer Don Was, Rolling Stones icon Mick Jagger, Australian bassist Tal Wilkenfield, keyboardist Mike Finnegan, legendary Beatle (and Walsh’s brother-in-law) Ringo Starr, and drummer Jim Keltner.
The caption to the new photo reads, “Cooking up something here at Capitol Records! I think you’ll like it.”
Wilkenfield, a member of Ringo’s latest All-Starr band, shared her own photo on Facebook from the session of Don Was using her bass as a hat rack and another of the studio’s headphone mix.
Walsh and Starr have collaborated many times over the years, most recently on Walsh’s 2012 solo album Analog Man, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store!
Walsh recently added more dates to his nationwide tour with Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band which kicks off March 27.
