Gene Simmons will try to make a buck off of anything.
At the end of last month, Simmons and Shannon Tweed renewed their wedding vows in Maui in celebration of their second anniversary. No surprise that the ceremony was filmed, but now comes word that it will be part of a documentary called The Ultimate Wedding Planner, which is about Japanese wedding planner Yoshi Nojiri. His company, Take and Give Needs, produces 18,000 weddings a year, including the one last month for Gene and Shannon. This week (Tuesday) is their second anniversary.
By now you know that Gene likes to share his movie reviews either on his website or Twitter. And now he's doing the same thing for TV shows. He tweets that he's "been far too busy to catch Breaking Bad," but adds that he “just watched the first season. A great show. Just my style and terrifically cast, acted, written and directed.” Breaking Bad ran on AMC for five seasons and ended this past Sunday.
Another show Simmons likes is NBC's Blacklist. He says it's "strong, well written, cast and directed." The only problem is the "lead lady's husband. Weak. The show is Hannibal, but I liked it, anyway."
