The late Brad Delp can be heard on three songs on the upcoming Boston album Life, Love and Hope, their sixth studio effort in 37 years.
The songs are "Didn’t Mean to Fall in Love," "Sail Away" and "Someone." Both "Didn't Mean to Fall in Love" and "Someone" were released on the band's last studio album, 2002's Corporate America, but have been re-worked for this release. "Sail Away" is about Hurricane Katrina and has never been released. The remaining vocals are handled by Tom Scholz, bassist Kimberley Dahme, Tommy DeCarlo and David Victor. The album will be out on December 3rd.
Delp committed suicide in 2007.
