We are six weeks into the NFL season and everyone has had a chance to put their flaws on display. This has truly been the year of "any given Sunday" with just one team remaining unbeaten – barely. At 6-0, the Falcons are No. 1 by record alone. They barely hung on to beat the lowly Raiders at home and head into their bye week with a lot to fix. Still, six wins are six wins.

They move up four spots to fourth. Last week's No. 1, the Texans, fell from their perch because what had been the best offense in the league – Green Bay's – looked like it again.

In short, it's been an unpredictable mess, evidenced by the 11 teams at 3-3 with five more having the chance to go to 3-3 this week. The Jets, of course, are one of those 3-3 teams, having just come up with their second blowout win of the season against the Colts. The problem is, those are the only two times they've looked like a top level team.
