I saw this cartoon and thought of my teacher friends...
I remember as kid, the last few weeks of summer were so precious. You'd hang on to every "free" moment: playing outside, staying up late, or hanging out with your friends because you knew that we the school year started, free time would rare. Remember calling your friends when you got your schedule to see if you had the same classes?
For my teacher friends, the beginning of the school year probably still feels the same except instead of having the "first day jitters" that are eased when you see old friends in your new classes, teachers today hope the new students have "old parents" who still respect the education system.
