Gort's Helmet from the original "The Day the Earth Stood Still" was up for auction in Hollywood last weekend. No word on how much it sold for but heres a cool video of a the helmet in the movie and a collector geeing out over it!

Hi! I'm Mike The Web Guy. My boss told me that I should start one of these blogs, even though I'm not "on the radio." After being told that it was a "good idea," I figured, "why not?"
