Pope Benedict the 16th has decided to resign.
Benedict, who's been the leader of the Catholic Church, cites his advanced age and failing health for stepping down. He'll be the first pope to have done so in six centuries.
Benedict plans to step down on February 28th, and the Church says a successor could be elected by the College of Cardinals by the end of March.
